I cant tell it from my SX as far as distance and lack of back lashes. I have pulled some decent fish out of some heave weeds and really like the feel of the drag. The only rub is that after doing some research, it looks like the Revo X is the exact same reel with just 2 more lbs of drag. Backlashes are very infrequent and mostly my fault. This eliminates backlash a lot more than some other reels. My favorite thing is that the fine-tune knob clicks, so you can adjust more precisely. After I got it, I realized it was a very smooth reel that holds up well. I originally bought it because it was a decent price and it looked really nice in the white colorway. Not sure how it stacks up against other similarly priced reels (SLX or Tatula CT) but I do like this reel.
Got this thing on sale and am loving it so far, almost never backlash and casts a dang mile. After using the Abu Garcia Blackmax for a couple years I decided it was time to upgrade. Check the screws each time you use this reel! Very unhappy with it !, I have black max silver max no trouble so I buy higher price and it's junk! I'm going to buy less! They are great!Ĭomments: This is my first higher end bass reel. Called customer service, and it cost me 31.00 to replace it. Cast it on the 3 trip and the left side plate fell off in the lake. Comments: These reels are junk! Bought one in December and fished with it 3 trips out.
